WENDY NANON SMITH       
     

Wendy Smith is an entrepreneur in the truest sense of the word. 

She has enjoyed a 20+ year career in various design fields including product design and manufacturing, creative visual design, graphic, environmental and packaging design, visual merchandising, interior and event design, retail and restaurant operations, and sales management.  

She is an innovative marketer creating outstanding public relation agendas to include celebrity endorsements, press releases, event planning and community event participation. 

As a business owner, Wendy created and developed

the luxury retail concept  of

Matti & Me ~ Compassionate Luxury Consignment,

a high-end designer boutique in Montecito, California.

She instilled the policy of giving a portion of profits  to humanitarian and animal conservation non-profits.

Dancing Bear Aspen and many more.


 

In the corporate world, Wendy is currently Retail Manager at the 5-star, Little Nell Hotel, in Aspen. 

She has also been the Retail Manager for the

Aspen Club and Spa, where she impacted sales threefold,

as well as  designed and implemented their private label

skin care line. 

She was Advertising Designer for Oregon Magazine where she designed all advertising, photo-styling and directed all advertorial layout. 

Wendy has a proven track record for business conceptualization and implementation.  She has executed many start-ups and has a keen sense of business marketing to support business initiatives. 

A native of California, raised in Colorado, Wendy attended Lewis and Clark College, in Portland, Oregon, followed by Oregon State University where she studied art and sociology.  Her interests and activities include animal welfare, gardening, art & architecture, hiking, skiing, sky-watching and river rock lounging. A member of Aspen Community Garden, Wendy resides in the beauty of the high Rockies and travels regularly to California for business.
